Apps

Apps provide Amorphic users with access to services not available directly on Amorphic. When enabled, the apps feature appears on the left sidebar of Amorphic. Selecting it reveals a list of apps that can be deployed and used. These include Amorphic apps, available exclusively in Amorphic, and open source apps, integrated with Amorphic for easy use with Amorphic data.

Note

To use Apps, Admins must enable it. If you would like to explore this option, please reach out to the Admins.

How to Create an App?

To create an app, click the + sign and then select the appropriate options. More details selected option is available in the app specific sub division.

Property	Description
App Name	The name of the app
Description	A brief summary of the app's purpose and functionality.
AppCode	Selecting 'Apache Superset' will list the required configuration for creating a superset application.
Keywords	Keywords are indexed and searchable within the application.

The below represents configurations information:

Property	Description
Version	View the available versions of the App that Amorphic supports and select the appropriate one.
Internet Facing Enabled	Lists two options: Enabled and Disabled. Selecting Enabled will allow access to the App via the Internet. If Disabled is selected, then the App can only be accessed in the Amorphic private environment.
ACM Certificate ARN	Create an ACM certificate in the AWS account and provide it here. This certificate will be used for HTTPS verification. Please contact the administrator for more information.
Domain Name	Provide the domain name that should be associated with Apps.
