Amorphic Service Limitations
Amorphic DR strategy offers the business continuity plan for users by enabling certain services in read-only mode during a disaster recovery scenario. Users will be able to perform read-only operations on the identified services. These identified services can be found here.
The Amorphic DR strategy boasts the ability to replicate a substantial number of datasets, with safety limit set at 10,000 without any loss. In the event of a disaster or data loss, the recovery strategy can efficiently duplicate and safeguard up to 10,000 datasets, ensuring the availability of critical dataset and their respective files for recovery and business continuity purposes.
Within multi-tenancy environments, it's important to note that any parameters generated by individual users will not undergo replication.
Amorphic Data Storage primarily relies on Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) and Amazon DynamoDB, both of which are robust and highly available cloud services. However, it's important to note that in the event of specific global service failures, this dependency could potentially result in data loss or service disruption that might pose challenges in terms of recovery.
